Be sure to get a copy of Cruisin' Pasadena in time for the Rose Parade. Download here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cruisin-pasadena/id583249747?ls=1&mt=8
Cruisin' Pasadena is now available for your iPhone and iPad running iOS 6 at the Apple App Store. Get a greater experience when visiting Pasadena, either in person or virtually. This app includes interesting sites, mostly located around Route 66 with some 'Then' and 'Now' pictures. It also includes many links to web sites to further inform and help you navigate some historical sites within Pasadena. Version 1.2 of Master-Of-Memory has just been sent to the App Store and is now pending a review before its release. It now includes a few performance enhancements (no sterioids, really) and the addition of a "Add to Calendar" feature that I probably should have included in the initial release. Thanks to my brother Tom for that one. I will announce when it has been released.
Now working on an app for both the iPhone and the iPad called CruisinPas, which is short for Cruisin' Pasadena. I hope to have it out before the holiday season and the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. This application includes sites in the city that are famous and some that are not as famous but of which I feel are noteworthy. Included are 'now and then' photos that you can swipe through to see what they looked like then and what they look like now. Maps are available to see the sites relative to your device's current location.
Hope you have been able to get a copy of our new app, ClassiCard. The app allows you to take a picture either using your iPhone/iPad camera or choose an existing one from your photo library, give it a postcard look, include the location, and then send it via Facebook, Twitter, and/or email. The app icon is of the boathouse at the Hotel del Coronado we took back in August. Now a restaurant, it still holds many of the original features as it did when it was built.
